Fiscal Year '24 Budget
Fiscal Year '24 Budget
The City of Frankfort operates on a fiscal year budget and planning for the FY 24 budget is underway. Since the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020, the loss of occupational tax dollars primarily from state government has significantly impacted the City's budget. American Rescue Program Act (ARPA) funds have been instrumental in closing the City's budget gap for the past two fiscal years, but the City is facing a budget shortfall in the FY 24 cycle.
The City of Frankfort's budget provides a number of services for the community including but not limited to public safety, street maintenance, stormwater projects, trash and recycling collection, code enforcement, land use planning, community development programs, and parks and recreation. The budget also includes capital projects. In the budget planning process, the City of Frankfort wants to hear from you, its residents, about priorities and goals for the future.
Please use this survey to give feedback on projects and services for the City. This survey kicks off a budget campaign where facts and information will be presented following this survey throughout the spring as the City goes through the budgeting process.
